JANUARY NEWS: Digital Mission is now helping more Mission groups! I am branching
out to help Christian missions, churches, or NGO's that need to UPGRADE their photography,
video programs, and website communications. Nowadays these groups all have websites
(increasingly vital to their communications), yet most lack truly gripping images or compelling
videos.
With my experience as a professional photojournalist, 20 years of freelance photo work, and
expertise in video production, I can help them touch more hearts for Jesus,,, either with the donors
back home, or with outreach tools for local ministry in Asia.
I will be relying on funding from donors back in the USA, but will also ask for a stipend or
donation from the groups I am helping here. Thank you for considering how YOU can help me, as I
help these groups that are doing amazing and life-changing work with the people of SE Asia!
Since July I have been helping the School of Promise, a small Christian bilingual school in it's
second year of working with at-risk kids near Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have visited them more than
ten times, shooting many photos and video clips. I produced a You Tube video called "What is
this thing called Love?" for their website. Click on the yellow type to watch the VIDEO. --------->
My project for January will be doing a longer piece for them, a more in-depth look at the situations
of some of the kids. Please PRAY for this school, they are really making a difference!
I am also working with New Life Center, a girl's home hosting a range of young women, from
at-risk tribal girls from mountain villages, to some who have been caught up in sex, exploitation,
and violence in the seedy "human trafficking" underworld. Because of confidentiality and
dangerous situations, I cannot show you those pictures. New Life Center helps about 200 girls
every year and has been around since 1989; a very respected Mission here.
In August I teach the Photography Week for YWAM's "School of Frontier Media", a ministry of
Create International. For the second year now we all had a great time and learned more about
Digital Photography. This year we even went to visit an Akha tribal village for our field trip! ONE
OF MY GOALS IN 2012 IS TO OFFER SEMINARS TO MISSION GROUPS to teach photo
principals to their staff, or even run a course for students.
As you probably know, the vast majority of Missionaries rely on financial support from friends,
family, and churches "back home." I am not sponsored by any church, only friends who believe
in the work I'm doing,,, that it helps people, and furthers God's Kingdom. The last two years have
been amazing in how God has led me to a nice house, two outstanding roommates, three friendly
dogs, a sturdy old Toyota pick-up truck, and also some wonderful friends and a great church to go
to.
As far as regular commitments go, I'm several hundred dollars short each month. But it is amazing
(there's that word again!) how "just when I need it", I get special donations that keep me afloat,
and enable me to even bless some of the less fortunate people here who need help.
Thank you if YOU can also help me to be full time as a Missionary in this far-off land. And I sure
do need a lot of prayer to be doing this! Let me know if you'd be serious about prayer for me!
You can check out some more of my photos below. Please drop me a line if you have any
questions or comments.
Make it a great day... God Bless You!

If you are a mission group, church,
or NGO in SE Asia that needs help
with media consulting, staff training,
profess- ional image making (for
either still photos or video), or are
in need of video production, please
EMAIL ME. Maybe I can help!
I am finding that a great idea for
you may be to do short "You Tube"
video's of 3-6 minutes that you can
send out a link to in your update
letters, and also post on your
website. (See sample at right.)
I have also produced longer "DVD"
programs, and was a crew member
on the movie production, "End of
the Spear."

for either MEDIA CONSULTING
in SE Asia, or to send a
DONATION. I do have a
501(c)(3) you can send to!
THANK YOU to all of you who have
prayed for me and even sent
donations in 2011. It has not been
easy, but I am doing well, slowly
learning the Thai language, and
helping several mission groups.

Thailand to help folks working with tribal people, and worked in Panama on the motion picture, End
of the Spear. CLICK on the links on the upper right to view my article about working on the movie
